Breakthrough Praise - PRAISE SECURES VICTORY!
Instead of focusing all the time on that situation, on that mountain, START TO PRAISE HIM! God inhabits praise!
READ: Psalm 149:6-9. Here we see the PRAISE, coupled with the declaration of Gods Word, binds the enemy in chains.
The devils most common methods of attack are to bring discouragement, negativity, hopelessness, despair into our lives - to paralyse us from within - to get our eyes off God. If thats what hes about in your life, then the best way to deal with him is to START PRAISING THE LORD. Get your eyes back on the greatness of God and declare His praises. Sing and shout of His love, and His faithfulness, and His goodness, and His mighty power. And you watch the enemy flee. His power of discouragement - HIS LIES - will be broken! Hallelujah!
Praise secures victory!

Scripture Of The Day: "The Lord said to Moses, 'How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the signs I have performed among them?'" - Numbers 14:11 (NIV)
In Numbers 14:11, "The Lord said to Moses, 'How long will these people treat me with contempt? Will they never believe me, even after all the miraculous signs I have done among them?'
In other words, Children of Israel, how many times have I shown you my power? Why are you acting like this? Youve been here before.
On Easter Sunday little children at churches around the country will recite Easter poems about the power of the Resurrection. We will all celebrate our belief that Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose on the third day with all power in His hands.
But I wonder how many of us apply the power of the cross to our everyday lives? How many of us allow what we confess to become real in the midst of our circumstances?
How many of us find ourselves facing familiar situations, and like the children of Israel, like me, and even like my sweet little Ryann, we act as if weve never faced that situation before?
As we prepare to celebrate the cornerstone of our Faith, let us remember that because of the miraculous power of the cross we are no longer victims to the circumstances we face! We can apply the resurrection power to every situation in our lives because we are united with Christ (Ephesians 2:6) and we already have the victory!

"Mind Management"
Managing your mind should be one of your top priorities. Your mind is like a computer, it only spits out the data you feed it. Winners work hard at investing the right material inside themselves. Dr. Hans Selye researched and popularized a tiny membrane in the back of our head known as the RAS: Reticular Activating System. Your RAS has a primary function: it moves you in the direction of your dominant thought at that moment. We naturally act on what fills our minds.
When we become preoccupied with a thought, eventually we want to act on it. This explains a lot of things - like why so many rapes happen after guys have watched pornography night after night. It also explains the huge amount of violence among young people between the ages of 12 and 24. By then the average young person has seen more than 4,000 murders on TV, not to mention video games. Indiana University School of Medicine studied how the images we see impact our brains. For instance, adolescents who'd a higher level of exposure to violence, had reduced levels of cognitive function. The more violence they saw the less thinking, learning, reasoning and emotional stamina they had. The garbage they fed their minds affected what came out. Their computer stored the wrong information - now they could only retrieve the wrong stuff.
The Apostle Paul didn't know about computers, but he knew about agriculture: "The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life" (Galatians 6:8 NIV).
So, manage your mind!
"Moving Beyond the Moment"
~ Philippians 3:13 - 14
Sometimes the things that hinder us from moving forward in our journey arent always bad things. It is possible to become hostage to our past by trying to relive something that has come and gone. This can take the form of trying to relive past achievements, relationships, or defining moments in our lives. Weve all met people like this. In their wallet or purse they carry pictures or newspaper clippings of a past relationship or climactic moment in their lives. They speak of the past in the present tense, as if these events happened yesterday. It is healthy to celebrate our past moments in life, but it is unhealthy to become stuck in a moment and miss the rest of life. Life is a motion picture not a snapshot. It is always moving and stands still for no one.
Those who have a snapshot perspective of life can be easily identified by their conversation. They always talk about the past and how things used to be, or they dwell on what someone did to them years ago. Its almost as if they stopped living once that moment transpired. Although they can easily recall in detail a particular moment in time that occurred years ago, they cannot clearly articulate their plans for the future.
You are more than a moment! You are a motion picture that is not defined by a snapshot or one frame of the picture. If you refuse to allow your past to define your future, you will discover that life has much more to offer you than a memory.
"Don't Let Your Haters Kill Your Faith"
Faith people have courage. Remember blind Bartimaeus. Somebody told him that Jesus is a healer. Obviously, Bartimaeus believed what he was told because when he heard that Jesus was walking by, he began to yell with a loud voice. "Jesus, thou Son of David have mercy on me." And the more they told him to shut up, the more he cried out. You see, he had some gumption about him.
Everybody is telling him to shut up, that nobody is listening to him; it's not going to work for him. However, he persists and continues to cry out anyway. He had an attitude of faith, but attitude alone is not enough; it is certainly a part of the process to get where you want to be. At his persistent crying out, Jesus stood still and told them to bring him. Bartimaeus immediately began casting away his garments even before he got to Jesus. That was an act of faith.
Now you better believe that when he took that old, worn-out, dirty coat off, some people went, "Oh, you are not supposed to do that. Put that coat back on." But you are always going to have people tell you what you can't do, or they will tell you what will never happen. You don't have to know how to do it because knowing how is not my problem. Acting on what God told you to do is your job because it is not your power anyway; it is His power.
If the Lord says to do it, then we have to do what He says if we want to have results. Bartimaeus didn't listen to his haters, completed his faith with action and he walked away seeing and totally healed.
"We Have Authority"
"And, behold, there was a woman, which had a Spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself. And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity." ~Luke 13:11 - 12
Notice the authority Jesus uses in this statement, Woman, thou art loosed from your infirmity. Jesus didnt go up to the woman and say, Father, I am praying and asking you to release this woman from this infirmity. No, Jesus didnt pray because He knew the will of God; He knew His authority, and so He issued a command. When you and I are exercising authority over the devil, we must already know what Gods will is on the matter.
That is why you must know that you know you have authority. You also must know what the will of God is in that area before you exercise your authority.
How is God with you? God is with you the same way He was with Jesus, by the anointing. Where is the anointing? The anointing is in you and on you. The Scripture says, Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
Now in order for 2009 to be our breakout year, we are going to have to walk in authority. Spiritual authority increases the more you operate it. So begin to exercise the key of the Kingdom and command the devil to go in Jesus name, because it is the will of the Father.

"The Word Will Accomplish the Task"
~ Isaiah 55:11
The word of God waters your life just as rain waters the earth. The word is like the rain as it goes into the earth and causes it to bud to bring forth fruit. The words that come out of God's mouth will accomplish what He has sent it to do. If you accept it, and you believe it and you let it abide there, it will bring forth fruit. Why? It is the power. It will not return void. Notice once again the word is sent to do something, but while it is doing it, it is accomplishing something.
When you put the word on a problem you have, it begins immediately working on that problem. You might say how can that be? Thanks for asking. It works for us just as i t works of God Himself. In Genesis chapter 1 we see God creating the earth. Notice that everywhere it says "and God said" not too far past it you see "it was so". In other words, when God speaks something, it always comes to pass.
Isaiah said that word will not return void. It will accomplish what it was sent to do. Look at how God created the world. He created it with His words by speaking it into existence. He said the words, and it happened. He said "light be". Light was. He said "Man be. Man was. When He speaks it comes to pass. Why? Because His word is always backed up with the power. His word is the power.
A good example of this is in the workplace. Most of us, if not all of us, have a boss somewhere. We work on a job. When the boss comes in and says, "I want you to do this." You say, "And what if I dont? The boss looks back at you and says, "You dont, and you dont come back tomorrow. You believe that. Why? The boss has t he power to back that up. He said, "You aren't coming back tomorrow. Clean out your desk and go home. So you are going to do what he says, because he has power.
In the same way, when God says something it is so. Why is that? When He speaks there is the power to bring it to pass. The power is right there in His word. It is the power unto salvation; it is the power unto healing; it is the power of God for whatever you need. That is the nature of the word of God.
You can take His word and put it in your mouth. Water your life with the word of God. Create your world with your words, words from the word of God. When you speak the word of God it shall be just as you say. Why? The word is power. The words you speak will be backed by heaven to cause whatever you say to come to pass in your life. Healing may be what you want. If so, then say what the word says about your healing. Hold fast to it, and it shall come to pass.
