If you are continually looking behind you cannot see where you are going. In order to embrace the new thing what God wants to do in your life you must clarify your focus and discover what God wants for you, your purpose and grow to become powerful in that purpose.
Jesus knows that faith and obedience must be expressed in new actions for maturing believers. When the Lord Jesus invited Peter to walk on the water He said, "Come." Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" Jesus said, "You of little faith, why did you doubt?" (Matt. 14:29-31) Often new experiences require a higher level of faith and obedience. Let the Lord show you greater things as you express a new willingness to venture in uncharted waters of relationships, ministries and obedience.
In order to see greater things we must be willing to lay aside some of our comfortable lifestyle and surrender it fully follow our Lord and His ministries. Ask the Lord to help you to escape from your comfort zone and follow the Jesus wherever He takes you. Faith believes that Gods will done in Gods way will not lack Gods provisions.

A committee will select three Finalists in each category based on the information received. All decisions are final. The Finalists for each category will be contacted by telephone by April 30, 2012, and must agree to be present at the SISTAHS Embracing the Elevation Conference on Friday, August 24, 2012 where the winners will be honored.

The Power to Achieve Purpose
Power is the capacity to achieve purpose. Then what is God's purpose, and how does He achieve it? His purpose is to recover for Himself a people who love Him, obey Him, trust Him, serve Him. His purpose is to salvage from the sea of human self-wreckage a people who live for the praise of his glory.
When it comes to glorifying God here on earth He shows us exactly how its done. It is done by completing the work He has for us to do. Its not about living our own agendas and its not about our own success or power. Its not about staying safe and being in our own little comfort zones, and, its not about hanging back and waiting until God shows up with your own personal lightening bolt or a burning bush. Its about FINDING, KNOWING and LIVING your God-given PURPOSE!
Its up to you to Ask, Seek and Knock. In Matthew 7: 7 God says, Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened. You were planned for a purpose that only you can fulfill. And it is not only about living the purpose-filled abundant life that God desires for you. It is about glorifying God your creator your Lord!

Who do you spend time with? (You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. ~Jim Rohn) The people you surround yourself with will affect your mindset. Think about them. If you are spending time with people who are also forward thinkers and understand your excitement and drive, you are in good company. On the other hand if you are surrounded by people who are always in one crisis after another and you seem to be the solution to their problems, your energy will be drained.
One of the most difficult things to do, but also necessary for moving forward is to look at the people in your life. Are they driven to live their life with purpose and understand your desire for success? Choose people who will build you up.
Connect with people who are already achieving some of the goals you are currently striving for. Remember if you want to be a millionaire, you need to spend time with millionaires. They think differently and act differently than people living paycheck to paycheck.
Do you know what holds you back? Everything you do is based upon your beliefs. In turn, this affects how you perceive your world around you. Put your finger on what is holding you back and getting in the way of your success. If you dont have any negative beliefs about success, then look at your beliefs around money and wealth. They are related, but different.
Look within and decide if there is a difference between what you say you want and what you actually believe is true. Your core beliefs were influenced by your life circumstances and how you interpreted those events. Look back on those events or influences. How old were you?
Unless you have consciously done your work, you will be surprised to recognize beliefs you developed at a much younger age continue to influence your mindset. This is like having a young child get into the drivers seat of the bus and begin driving the bus. If the old belief does not work for you, blow it up! That is right. Let it go. Create one more relevant to who you are now and your current life goals.

The Happiness of Purpose
One way to truly know yourself and experience fulfillment is to get in touch with your purpose in lfie. Don't Get Sabotaged

Dont allow your subconscious mind to take over every action and decision that you make. This impacts on the steps you take to move forward in your life, the dreams and goals you set for yourself, and the overall power and purpose of your present state.
You DO have all the answers within you, you DO have all the solutions, and you CAN step out confidently with power and purpose to gain anything you desire in life through Christ who gives you strength. You have to give yourself permission to do so first, believe that the Lord will do exceeding abundantly above all you could ask or think according to the power that works in you to attain your goals, then train your mind to seek out the answers you need through the Word.
If you catch yourself saying the same pessimistic things, write down a POWER and PURPOSE AFFIRMATION and stick it in a prominent place where you can see it everyday as a reminder this could be on your bathroom mirror, your fridge, or in your wallet. When you hear yourself saying something negative, read the POWER and PURPOSE AFFIRMATION and see how it unlocks your mind for real, tangible transformation.
